EXPEL 2.0 is quick and easy to use and rinses with a small amount of water. It contains no harsh solvents, no harmful glycol ethers, and no V.O.C. It is biodegradable and has little or no odor.
With the worldwide paper shortage, printers are resorting to using more accessible paper that can be lower in quality and/or brighter paper that often contains higher amounts of calcium carbonate (which is a filler used to whiten paper). Once this calcium carbonate mixes with the fountain solution salts it creates a calcium glaze over the ink rollers, plates, and blankets that is insoluble to water, solvent and oil. Certain inks also contain calcium which further compounds the issue.
